Improving Your Golf Game Around The Green
The vast majority of your strokes occur around the green, yet most golfers spend the vast majority of their time at the range hammering the driver. You may hit the driver 14 times a round, but use up most of your strokes from 100 yards and in, during your round. Put your practice time to good use by hitting wedges, lob wedges, and short chips around the green. If you consistently hit your approach shots to 20 feet and under, you are going to start making a lot more pars and birdies. Missing the green from 100 yards is a big reason you bring bogey and doubles into play. Practice smarter, and give yourself a better chance of shooting lower scores by improving your short game. The time you spend on the practice range will pay huge dividends in your scores.
